JOURNAL #01
On Lost Mornings
April 16, 2023
I woke up today and couldn’t remember what it felt like to be sixteen.
It’s not amnesia, it’s just distance. A life that doesn’t check in anymore.
I still remember the smell of my father’s shaving foam.
I still remember the auto rickshaw rides, how the city sounded.
But it’s getting quieter. And I don’t know how to stop forgetting.
